FAQs for Existing Students of Online Courses

Yes! If you have already enrolled in an online course, nothing will change for you. All of the current self-care courses (Levels One & Two, the Scoliosis Course, and the Chair Exercises Course) will still be online, and you will still have lifetime access.

While the existing self-care courses (Levels One & Two, the Scoliosis Course, and the Chair Exercises Course) will still technically be open for enrollment, they will not be advertised. All new students will be directed to sign up for the mobile app.

Not at all. The CEI program will remain completely on the Somatic Movement Center website. No part of the CEI program will be in the mobile app.

This is entirely up to you! There are some features of the mobile app that are not included in the existing online courses, such as:

  • A Coaching Video that goes along with each exercise
  • A Chair Exercise taught along with most Floor Exercises, as well as suggested modifications
  • A Pain & Symptom Tracker that allows you to track your progress over time
  • A custom Playlist function that allows you to create your own audio playlists of the exercises
  • A faster pace of learning (if desired); you get access to a new exercise every day for six weeks

The mobile app is not connected to the online courses, so you will be creating a new account for the mobile app.

The mobile app is free for the first three days, after which the cost is $6.99/month. You may cancel at any time. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your monthly subscription is renewed.

No, refunds will not be issued to existing students who decide to start using the mobile app. Use of the mobile app is entirely optional, and not necessary, as existing students have lifetime access to their online courses.

Please also keep in mind:

  • The existing online courses allow students to download and save all of the audio tracks, which is a great value; the mobile app does not allow downloading, only streaming.
  • Both the online courses and the mobile app are very underpriced. The Level One Course ($45) includes what you would learn in 3-4+ private sessions, at a cost of $250-400+. The Level Two Course ($75) includes what you would learn in 9-10+ private sessions, at a cost of $600-900+. We have kept the monthly cost of the mobile app very low in order to make it affordable for as many people as possible.
